



















Nestled beneath ancient oaks on Spier’s historic Werf, Vadas Smokehouse & Bakery celebrates the art of wood-fired cooking. Ethically raised meats from Farmer Angus and seasonal vegetables from our Food Garden come together to create a thoughtful, farm-to-plate dining experience. Families can savour honest, hearty dishes while children run free on our farm’s open lawns.
Delicious, no-fuss food from the smokehouse – feast on standout dishes like oak-smoked brisket, bourbon-glazed pork belly, and beetroot and feta salad with berries and dukka. The bakery fills the air with the aroma of slow-fermented sourdough and seasonal fruit pies. And, of course, the famous Pastéis de Nata adding a touch of Portuguese tradition to the Cape Winelands.
Open on fairweather days, our Bubbles & Braai pop up on the Werf serves good South African food off the open fire. Expect enjoy Karoo lamb, Farmer Angus burgers and boeries - complimented with your favourite Spier wine.
