“Not only do you need to grow as a business, you need to create shared value for your staff and communities and make sure you make a positive impact on your environment. Yes, we grow grapes, but we also grow with people and create agents of change. Spier has worked with the Tree-preneurs since 2009 to empower people from some of the Cape’s poorest communities with the opportunity to change their lives.

With the help of COOP and this crowdfunding opportunity, we are able to invite the Danes to make a difference too, by buying back trees which will then be planted in disadvantaged communities' public spaces e.g. Schools."

Andrew Milne, Chief Executive Officer, Spier.

Kunst & Historie
